MONTREAL THEATRE HUB

by Camila Fitzgibbon

Geordie Theatre School and Repercussion Theatre are teaming up to engage youth in an exciting part of English culture. This summer, as part of Repercussion’s annual must-see Shakespeare-in-the-Park, GTS will be leading an Introduction to Shakespeare Workshop before select performances.

In this workshop youth will learn what all the thy, wilt thou, wherefore and forsooths are all about and experience the fun of speaking Shakespearean text! The 2-hour workshop will culminate in meeting the cast of Repercussion’s Much Ado About Nothing, asking questions of the director, and participating in a professional pre-show warm-up!

Following the workshop participants and their families are encouraged to stay to watch the star-studded production of Much Ado About Nothing (admission by donation)!
