Stage Management

Much Ado About Nothing

Danielle Laurin (stage manager) is thrilled to be back in Montreal, after spending several years away from the city. She received her B.F.A. in design for the theatre from Concordia University, and later apprenticed in stage management and design in Portland, OR at the Portland Playhouse. She earned her M.F.A. in stage management from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, serving as the theatre & cinema department’s production stage manager and graduate instructor of stage management, as well as working in their costume shop. She returns to Montreal this summer after interning at the Public Theatre in New York, on David Byrne’s new musical Joan of Arc: Into the Fire. In Montreal, she has worked as assistant director for Dean Fleming on Geordie Productions’ The Odyssey (2014) and Robin Hood (2012), as well as assistant costume designer for James Lavoie on Lies my Father Told Me (2011) at the Segal Center. Having ASM’d on Repercussion’s Twelfth Night tour in 2015, she is grateful for the opportunity to once again join the team and bring Shakespeare to the parks this summer!
