Much Ado About Nothing

Dean is excited to return to the stage after about a dozen years away and ever happy to work with Repercussion Theatre, a company he has long admired. Last year, Dean stepped down as the Artistic Director of Geordie Productions, where he had worked to uphold the mandate of creating thought provoking and engaging theatre for young people since 2005. He has directed over fifty productions and produced countless more, some of which have toured through Canada and the United States. He also performs in film, on television and lends his voice to video games and animated series. Some favorite directing credits include Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Shared Account, The Little Prince, The Odyssey, A Christmas Carol, Smokescreen, Beethoven Lives Upstairs, Instant, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Metastasis, Chain of Ruin and V- Cards. Dean has a BFA from Concordia University in Performance. He has taught at Concordia University, ASM Performing Arts and continues to teach at the National Theatre School. In 2013, Dean was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contribution to the Arts.
