Winner of the 2004 Governor General’s Award for lifetime achievement in the performing arts
and founding member of the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde. His influence on the Quebec and
Canadian Theatre scene is simply immeasurable.
“An aging actor has been unceremoniously sacked during the rehearsals for a new production of King Lear. He becomes the security guard for the theatre, wanders out into the lobby and begins to perform a solo version of Shakespeare's tragedy. It appears he was fired with cause. Our hero is loosing his bearings, but not his sense of humour”. - Kevin Orr

• The famous seduction scene from Molière’s comedy Tartuffe featuring Peter Blaikie, Catherine Bérubé and a surprise special guest.
• Music by the renowned Jonathan Moorman Ensemble
