Shakespeare Unplugged features two actors performing some of William Shakespeare’s most intuitive and audacious texts in an intimate setting. This is theatre in its purest, most visceral form – a joy for audiences and a true test for actors.

First produced in 1998 by Willpower Theatre in Nova Scotia, this critically acclaimed production has been presented in a wide variety of venues since then. In 2002, the play was presented at the Globe Theatre in Saskatchewan for a two-week run. Repercussion Theatre is proud to work with Shakespeare Unplugged's original creator and director, Ed Thomason, in bringing this extraordinary production for the first time to Montreal.
